You spoke very well onthe subject Graham thank you. I was trying to make the point that it is an impossible position to compromise unless you are a subject of the chant/issue raised. I perhaps was less eloquent in my comment than my head. Just an incomprehensible and infuriating subject for me so I think I was trying to not vent as I wrote.
I hope we all get to hear people's feelings and thoughts on the subject.
Whilst I am not Muslim myself, my two brothers are. Growing up in Clydebank, was a reason to have to defend both them and myself physically 7 days a week.
I can categorically say, whilst I recognise some difficulties faced, it is a problem i cannot claim to know.
Emotionally, intellectually and spiritually I have not had to internalise and carry myself through the actions and behaviour of others.
You cannot get to the end of the chants base argument, if you have a brain, that different means 'less than'.

The minority are always heard more. This is a culture issue, sport doesn't exist in a vacuum.
It is racism without interest. I imagine it is something that isn't thought about deeply. It is racist behaviour, probably lacking malice, and clearly, intelligent people.
